CAMPUS DE GUAJARA, UNIVERSIDAD DE LA LAGUNA

30 Y 31 DE MARZO;1 Y 2 DE ABRIL; 2017

During the Conference four types of activities will be basically done: Public Dialogues, Workshops, Poster Presentations and Tagoror. For submit proposals for Workshops and Poster see, please, the corresponding sections.

About the Public Dialogues. Similar to the traditional Plenary Sessions in which an expert explains his theories or proposals to the room. Instead of this what we will do is to open public spaces generating dialogue between two or more persons (including the audience) where varied thematic and cultural diversity will be present through Collaborative and Dialogic Practices.

According to Wikipedia: "The word Tagoror means in Berber language "circular enclosure of stones" or "meeting place" (...) The Tagoror was circular and consisted of large flat stones to seat on and distributed inside the circle formed also by stones or slabs of large, sometimes, half-buried, that marked space. In the days before the Spanish conquest there were numerous tagorores all along of the living area of the island of Tenerife, which were phased out after Spanish colonization".

In our Conference the Tagoror replace the traditional "Coffee Break" so that it will not only be a moment to rest and eat and drink something, but we are thinking in continue the talks that begin in each Public Dialogue and/or Workshop... Meats and drinks are included in the Conference registration.

IMPORTANT >>> March 31 and April 1 the lunch in the restaurant of the University is included in the Conference registration. It will consist of a self-service buffet .
